Meet The Team - The Key to Success

PAUL H GENT

GROUP MANAGING DIRECTOR


Paul, along with his wife Helen, is one of the founding Directors of the business. Having been in the financial services industry since leaving school in the 80’s, Paul’s passion is around business excellence.

Paul is the Group Managing Director, and he also heads up the Mortgage and Protection Division of Key Financial Services that was established in 1998. Paul has arranged 1,000s of mortgages for clients, from First Time Buyers to Seasoned Investors, ensuring they are fully protected against all eventualities and most importantly reviewing them on a regular basis to ensure that the products continue to be suitable.

In January 2022, Paul was very proud to accept the 2021 award for The Top Protection Advisor at the Annual Finance Planning Group awards, for the fifth year running.

Outside of work, Paul is a car enthusiast and along with the rest of his family a big Disney fan. He lives by the motto “If you can dream it, you can do it!”

HELEN L GENT

DIRECTOR


Helen, the other founding Director in 1998, has a wealth of Financial Services and Estate Agency knowledge and experience gained over her years working in both sectors.

Helen is a fully qualified Mortgage and Protection advisor; she is also the Head of the Sales and letting Division. Since the tenant fee ban in 2019 and in preparation for the regulation of the property market (ROPA) a lot of Helen’s time is spent keeping on top of new legislation ensuring the company is fully compliant, regularly updating tenancy agreements and other paperwork. She is also studying for her Level 4 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management and The Sale of Residential Property.

Outside of work, Helen enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and their cockapoo Poppy. She also enjoys going to the theatre and listening to music. Helen and her daughters are regular fund raisers for Breast Cancer Awareness and Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA).

ROB GIBBENS

BRANCH MANAGER


Rob joined Key in April 2017 as a Business Development manager, he quickly became a valuable and respected member of the team and was promoted to Branch Manager in 2019. Rob is also our Senior Valuer and provides a professional, knowledgeable service whether it’s a valuation for a sale or a rental.

Born and bred in Nuneaton he knows the area very well, this allows him to value the properties so they hit the market at the correct price, optimising prime marketing time.

Rob is currently studying for the Level 3 Award in The Sale of Residential Property and also Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management in preparation for the regulation of the property market (ROPA).

Outside of work, Rob enjoys spending quality time with his Fiancée and their dog. He is a big West Ham fan and also enjoys playing the guitar.

VERONICA ADDY

SENIOR PROPERTY CONSULTANT


Veronica joined Key in 2009, working as a Senior Property Consultant she gained knowledge and experience in negotiating sales and dealing with clients. Veronica is now Key’s Administrator within the Financial Services department, helping with accounts and mortgage reviews. 

Having lived in Nuneaton for 30 years she has a wealth of knowledge about the area and can advise on many areas of the town.

Outside of work, Veronica loves to spend quality time with her family, with her Grandchildren keeping her busy. She also likes doing puzzles and watching dramas, soaps and competition programmes.

LEAH MOFFITT

PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO DIRECTORS


Leah joined Key in 2009, working in a variety of roles including Lettings and Sales she gained a vast amount of knowledge and experience. Leah is now the PA to the Directors and responsible for the day-to-day management, she is also responsible for the Financial Services administration department.

Leah is well known to our Financial Services clients as she deals with mortgage cases, ensuring they come to a successful completion. Sales chasing is a very important part of Leah’s role and she often needs to get involved to overcome problems that threaten the chain. As a result of her persistence, persuasiveness and hard work, we are very proud that we have an extremely small fall through rate.
 
Outside of work, Leah loves spending time with her family and their 2 dogs.

JESS PARKER

PROPERTY CONSULTANT


Jess joined Key in September 2019 as a Property Consultant and it has been a pleasure to watch her grow. Very happy and enthusiastic, she quickly became a valuable member of the team.

Jess works closely with our clients from carrying out viewings, negotiating sales all the way through to completion.
 
Jess loves to learn as much as she can about all aspects of the business, and is now also one of our Valuers. She is also currently studying for the Level 3 Award in The Sale of Residential Property and also Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management, in preparation for the regulation of the property market (ROPA).

Outside of work, Jess enjoys spending time with her partner and family. She also enjoys listening to music and going on holiday.

NICHOLA JONES

PROPERTY MANAGER


Nichola joined Key in June 2021 as our Lettings Property Manager. Many of our tenants will have met Nichola as she carries out move in appointments and property visits, along with dealing with any repairs and tenancy management.

Nichola also works closely with our landlords, ensuring they are kept up to date with all details relating to their properties and tenancies.
 
Nichola is currently studying for the Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management, in preparation for the regulation of the property market (ROPA).

Outside of work, Nichola enjoys going on family days out, bike rides and anything Disney!

SOPHIE MASON

PROPERTY MANAGER


Sophie has recently joined KEY and is one of our Lettings Property Managers.

She carries out, property visits, check ins and deals with repairs.

Sophie is currently studying for the Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management, in preparation for the regulation of the property market (ROPA).

Outside of work, Sophie is a part time nail technician and loves being creative! She is also a huge fan of Strictly and Bake Off.

LAURA THOMAS

BRANCH MANAGER


Laura has recently joined KEY and is our Branch Manager. 

She is here to support, train and develop our team. 

Laura is currently studying for the Level 3 Award in The Sale of Residential Property and also Level 3 Award in Residential Letting & Property Management in preparation for the regulation of the property market (ROPA).

Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her son, is a big Disney fan as well as enjoys playing the guitar.

MICHELLE CURRIN

SALES PROGRESSER


Michelle joined Key in September 2022 as our Sales Progresser, dealing with third parties including other Estate Agents and Solicitors to help a sale to complete.

Michelle is currently studying for the Level 3 Award in The Sale of Residential Property, in preparation for the regulation of the property market (ROPA).
